Open Mornings make a flying start

The first of our Open Mornings was fully booked with over 50 attending.   Our Head Boy Ben Heyes welcomed the students whilst Emily Baril and James Jenkins talked about their experiences of joining Twynham from other schools;  BSG and Winton Media College respective.   After a brief presentation by Dr Fish (Head Teacher) and Mr Cook (Director of 6^th Form) students were then taken on a tour of the campus.   Nothing special is laid on, students are simply taken into lessons to meet students and teachers.  In the feedback session at the end of the tour the visiting students were full of praise of what they had experienced.  The quality of the facilities and the relationships between staff and students where both seen as real strengths.   Mrs Jackson (Head of 6^th Form) was delighted with the way the tour went “ the students were delightful and they were really impressed by what they experienced”.   The next tour is virtually full and so students who want to see the 6^th form for themselves need to book a place on-line as soon as possible.
